Infants Program

Toddlers Program

State-Sponsored Pre-K Program

Our Pre-K program is State-Sponsored and follows the Douglas County school calendar. Led by two state-approved teachers per classroom, we provide:

  • Expert Instruction: Two state-certified teachers ensure individualized attention and specialized instruction for each child.

What ages does Bright Kids Academy accept?

We accept children from 6 weeks through 12 years old. Our programs include Infant Care (6 weeks–1 year), Toddlers (2–3 years), Preschool (3–4 years), State-Sponsored Pre-K (age 4 by September 1), and After School Care (ages 4–12).

Is the State-Sponsored Pre-K program free?

Yes! Georgia's State-Sponsored Pre-K program is free for eligible 4-year-olds. Your child must turn 4 on or before September 1 to qualify. It is funded by the State of Georgia through DECAL and follows the Douglas County school calendar. Seats are limited — contact us early to secure a spot.

What curriculum does Bright Kids Academy use?

We use proven, research-based curricula across all our programs — including the High Scope curriculum for our State-Sponsored Pre-K program. All approaches are designed to support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Do you offer school pickup from local elementary schools?

Yes! We offer school pickup service from local Douglas County elementary schools. Your child is picked up directly from school and brought safely to Bright Kids Academy for After School Care until 7:00 PM. Contact us to confirm whether your school is on our current route.

What are the hours of operation?

Bright Kids Academy is open Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We follow the Douglas County school calendar and are closed on state holidays. Our extended hours are designed to accommodate working families.
